Today was an exciting day for me, it was the day I got to return to The Netherlands, my favorite European country.
We got up and ready to go by 11 and made our way to the North Paris train station. Our “above and beyond” promoters drove our luggage by van and guided us through the subway to get there and we said good-bye and thanked them.
We had time for a quick lunch and then got on the bullet train to Rotterdam. Two and a half hours later we arrived and were picked up and taken to our host homes.
Holland is just as awesome as I remembered and our host families equally delightful. Enjoy the pictures.
After a delicious lunch provided by our hosts, the Slob family (pronounced Slobe) Mark, Avi, Johnny and myself rode bikes into town (which was about a 5 minute ride). I’m pretty sure this is where Walt Disney based Main Street on. Since it was late in the day, most of the shops were closed, we just got some ice cream and returned home since the bike I had borrowed had a back tire that kept going flat (thankfully we had a pump).
