We didn’t get to sleep in today before our drive to Craon which was 30 minutes away. We were driving straight to the church that we were playing at, which was quite different from the night before. They didn’t have anything that was on the rider but that didn’t stop us from putting on a great show. It was a small but full church with great people there and fortunately lots of them spoke English.
After church we had a quick lunch and our promoters took us to our lodging for the night. We arrived in time for lunch for BBQ at the farm house… which is where we were staying that night. We weren’t too thrilled about it but it turned out to be not so bad. The people were friendly and the buildings that made up the working farm were amazing, and it sure was quiet, except of course for the bats outside and the rodents trapped in the chimney. But I still got plenty of sleep.
