The next morning we got on a train to Laval, France through Paris. There wasn’t any Wi-fi on the train so we just sat there listening to music and enjoying the German countryside.
After a couple of (hectic) train transfers we made it into Paris and got picked up by the promoter for the 3 hour drive to Laval, this was after 10 hours of travel already, long day. We eventually got in a little after 1am to our hotel, or rather, boarding school in Laval. The students were out for the weekend and so this made a cheap place for us to stay, but upon our arrival we discovered there were no pillows on the beds, or towels/soap for the shower or even toilet seats. But our exhausted promoters were quick to accommodate and find those items for us even after driving to Paris to pick us up.
